Identify a factor pair of 154 for which the sum of the two factors is 25. Can someone please explain how to do this problem. Thank you

OpenStudy (twwc960):

First, you need to find the prime factors of 154. Since it's even, divide by two to get 77 which is clearly 7x11, so the prime factors are 154=2x7x11. Now, to find factor PAIRS, group two of those 3 factors together and pair with the third. Only one such grouping yields a factor pair which adds to 25, 14x11.

Thank you so very much
