Help? medal & fan A politician wants to see what people in her district think about tax cuts. Which procedure would be a good way of conducting a survey? A) Answer listeners' calls on a morning radio program. B) Invite the public to a meeting held on a Wednesday at 10:00 AM. C) Conduct a clipboard survey of people entering and leaving a mall. D) Mail a questionnaire to randomly selected households in her district.
B
How?
I'm unsure B would be correct. The idea would be not to focus on a particular social group, and work typically starts before 10:00AM, so early morning workers would not have a chance to have their say. I think a questionnaire done through mail would have a higher chance of reaching to different groups of people, as not all people can afford to waste money at malls either. A focuses on people with cars and radios, which I think is okay, but not the best.
