Which list describes the properties of a liquid? A. fixed volume, definite shape B. fixed volume, takes the shape of its container C. completely fills its container, definite shape D. completely fills its container, takes the shape of its container
i think b
lol its b i found out
b Liquids are almost incompressible, so their volumes don't change. If you pour water into a tank shaped like a cube, the water takes the shape of the cube, In a bottle, it takes the shape of the bottle. Solids are almost incompressible, but try fitting a square peg into a round hole - it doesn't work ?! Putty, though, seems slightly different, as does plasticene and a few other, they may be called ELASTOMERS, I can't remember Gases are basically "all over the place". Very compressible, and tend to diffuse to fill any container. Clever, innit ? Bon voyage http://perendis.webs.com
