OpenStudy (ksmd13):

What is the slope of the line segment?

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

5 1/5 -1/5 -5

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

i forgot how to solve slope/rise over run so if someone could please explain it to me .-.

OpenStudy (cas_fangirl_14):

*sees pic of Andy* *fangirls* *dies of emo heart attack* \[slope=\frac{ rise }{ run }\]

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

i'm giving you a medal just cuz you said that xD

OpenStudy (cas_fangirl_14):

lol thanks XD

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

ik slope = rise/run but i don't know how to figure it out

OpenStudy (cas_fangirl_14):

rise is the y component run is the x component in the graph (15,3) 15=y component 3=x component

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

do i have to simplify next?

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

cuz that's not an answer choice

OpenStudy (cas_fangirl_14):

All you have to do is \[15\div3=?\]

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

oh i'm stupid xD ty

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

so the answer would just be 5?

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

no negative, no fraction?

OpenStudy (cas_fangirl_14):

np you could have used any point btw

OpenStudy (cas_fangirl_14):

Nope just 5 :)

OpenStudy (ksmd13):

alright ty!
