I hope that the enclosed is correct. The acorn seems to pop out of the oak tree. I often wonder how squirrels can eat acorns - I couldn't. Bon voyage http://perendis.webs.com

ps enclosed is a powerpoint slide - i find it easier than the graphics on this site

|dw:1473842792232:dw| @osprey if you use Chrome, there is an extension that allows you to do stuff like this

OpenStudy (ltrout):

@osprey I'm getting different answers than yours? I used the help video my teacher put on her board and just replaced the info with what's in the problem and so far I have gotten 1.42s for the first answer and 1.56m for the second answer.?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

@osprey even when I input the equation you provided: \[\sqrt{\frac{ 2 * 10 }{ 9.81 }}\] I receive an answer of 1.41, not 6.3855s. Not sure how you got 6.3855s for the time, but it messed up the other equations causing everything to be wrong. Luckily I double checked all this before I posted it.

Meant to put *Luckily I double checked all of this before I submitted it to the teacher*

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

@ltrout Your answers are correct. The squirrel must run 5 - 1.57 = 3.43 m in 1.42 s to grab the acorn as it reaches the ground. The 6.4 s answer is a mistake

Thanks @Vincent-Lyon.Fr !
