Can someone help me with four Elementary Statistics questions??
The other three: Empirical evidence suggests that 25% of Florida drivers are uninsured. If four random Florida drivers are involved in an accident, what is the probability that more than one of them are uninsured? A report from the secretary of health and human services stated that 70% of single- vehicle traffic fatalities that occur at night on weekends involve an intoxicated driver. If a random sample of 15 single-vehicle traffic fatalities that occur at night on a weekend is selected, find the probability that 11 involve a driver who is intoxicated. It has been estimated that 40% of marriages end in divorce. If you randomly select 9 recently married couples what is the probability that at least one of the marriages will end in divorce?
First question, I guess you want to find P(x) when x = 3 The probability of seeing 1-4 students is 1 so add up P(x)s for 0,1,2 and and 4 and subtract this total from 1. this will give you P(3)
Okay so 25/27 -1?
Wouldnt that equal a negative 2/27?
its subtract FROM 1 1 - 25/27
My mistake
Can you help me with the other three?
