Help with a French assignment

OpenStudy (kimberly_pr):

You are looking out of your hotel room in Marseilles. Describe what you see, using qui as you rewrite the sentences. For example: Je vois des gens. Les gens se promènent. > Je vois des gens qui se promènent. 1. Voilà une dame. Elle cherche un taxi. 2. Regarde les enfants. Ils jouent avec leur chien. 3. Il y a un homme. Il mange une glace. 4. J'observe un garçon. Il est très pressé 5. Cette fille traverse la rue. La rue est pleine de voitures.

alones (alones):

Hrmm I don't quit understand it..

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Basically what you will want to do is combine the two sentences. Replace the subject in the second sentence with qui. I'll do the first 2, and let you finish and I'll let you know if they're correct or not. 1) Voilà une dame. Elle cherche un taxi. - Voilà une dame qui cherche un taxi. 2) Regarde les enfants. Ils jouent avec leur chien. - Regarde les enfants qui jouent avec leur chien.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

@Kimberly_PR I posted above how to do it and did the first 2 for you. Do the others and post them and I'll let you know if you're right or wrong.
