OpenStudy (dontrodgers):

It sounds like the problem is describing a square inscribed in a circle, like this: |dw:1473970686217:dw| To find the radius of the circle, you have to find the distance from the center of the square to its corner. To do that first find the length of one side of the square: the square root of the area. Take that length and multiply by root 2 to get the length of the diagonal. Divide that by two and you have it.
