On this graph, what is the displacement from 0s to 8s? // A. 0.6 m B. 5.0 m C. 2.0 m D. 10.0 m ... I think it's B, if you subtract the final placement and the initial placement. I have a photo to help.

You would be right, displacement is the difference of the final and initial position, regardless of the trip in between. From the graph it looks like you end up 6m away and you've started from 1m away making the total displacement 5m.
