Animal Testing

I think that testing animals is a good thing. I know that its cruel and inhumane to animals but humans and animals are alike in some ways. They have to test something. By testing animals you can save millions of people. According to paragraph 2, it states that animal testing has enabled the development of numerous life-saving treatments for both humans and animals. Animal testing started in the mid 1850s. Animals could also experience pain and suffer just like humans do.

Many people experiment animals in order to create medical treatments and to check the toxicity of medications. These experiments will help humans and will continue to do so in the future. However, there are some negative aspects. Many people complain that is not fair to treat animals the way scientists do through these experiments. A lot of people state that it is animal abuse and that they don't deserve to be treated this way. People will argue saying that animals, like humans, also have rights and should not be harmed just for the benefit of human lives.
