Can someone critique my argumentative essay?

Family get toethers, Super Bowl, and many more occasions. All of this because of College sports, mainly the college athletes. These people word hard with blood, sweat and tears, but they don't get paid for it. In my opinion and a lot of other people's, this is unfair. Some people might argue that 'These athletes are going to college for a degree so they don't need to be paid for that', but that still doesn't justify why they don't get paid. So because college athletes work hard and don't get paid for it, college athletes should be paid.
Some people might argue that the athletes are going to college for free. It turns out, this is not true. Dennis A. Johnson from The Sport Journal states "depending on the school attended, that scholarship can be worth anywhere from $30,000 to $200,000". In addition to this, people will argue that athletes have concerts brought to the campus. Concerts, artists, and more is promised, but is rarely given. John Acquaviva also from The Sport Journal says "Adler and Adler spent five years recording systematic information regarding the athletes’ lives in a big-time college basketball program. After observing, interviewing, and traveling with them, they concluded that big-time basketball and being seriously engaged in academics were not compatible".
However, while the athletes are getting paid nothing, the coach gets a large amount of money. Statistics say, a coach can make 1 million dollars a year. As a matter of fact, coach Nick Saban from the Alabama Crimson Tide makes $7,000,000 a year. The guy makes $7,000,000 a year while the players get nothing. An athlete won’t even get paid for his/her name. In 2009 the NCAA released the game "NCAA Basketball 09". In the game, basketball player Ed O’Bannon is a playable character. The NCAA never payed him or told him about his appearance.
It's not fair that athletes work so hard, but get nothing for it. While they are working and training, the coaches get all the pay. This is unfair for the athletes so they should have the pay check split evenly. Also, I mentioned athletes don't get paid even if companies use their name or face. Both of these things I mentioned are unfair, and they need to be changed. Even if it means paying the athletes minimum wage.
