OpenStudy (jonesdpc):

Whenever important physicists are discussed, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton, and Albert Einstein seem get the most attention. However, as you’ve seen, Galileo formulated or refined many of his discoveries and theories based on the findings of others who came before him, including Aristotle and Nicolaus Copernicus. Likewise, Newton claimed that he “stood on the shoulders of giants” in developing his work. You’ve just begun your study of physics, but from what you know (or can research and find out) take a position that Galileo, Newton, and Einstein deserve this special recognition. Alternately,

OpenStudy (cecil_the_weasel):

So what is the question? Is it whether or not you think they deserve the recognition that they receive today? I can see it is an opinion question so in order to help you, I would like you to choose a side and then we can help you come up with supporting details to help you. It needs to be your thoughts though. We can only provide guidance. The ending was cut off of your question. What does it say?

OpenStudy (jonesdpc):

@Cecil_the_Weasel Alternately, identify a physicist that you think has been overlooked, compared to these three. Do some research and support your opinion with credible arguments.

OpenStudy (cecil_the_weasel):

Alright. Would you rather do the first or second option? I don't think either is particularly harder than the other. For the first, all you have to do is pick a side and give a few reasons on why you think that. There are many people you could write about for the second one. Many scientists were overlooked or robbed of their work because of their gender, race, or religion. (Think Rosalind Franklin or Robert Remak.)
