Did everyone, like, forget PEMDAS or something? Or is it the fact that nobody knows what an exponent 0 is? I've solved this same equation 7 times...on this site.
anyway... Parenthesis first. So... \[\left( \frac{ 7*5*2 }{ 7*3 } \right)\] \[\left( \frac{ 70 }{ 21 } \right)\]
This is a recurring decimal, 3.3333333333333333333333333333333333333... so it would be converted to : 3.34
For the other parenthesis, ANYTHING raised to the power 0 automatically equals one. Are you with me, Milo?
Yes
Well.. anyway. \[\left( \frac{ 5^0 }{ 2^{-3} } \right)\] \[\left( \frac{ 1 }{ 0.125 } \right)\]
This equals 8.
Now, Exponents (PEMDAS) 3.34 is raised to the 2nd power. It becomes 11.1556. 8 is raised to the 3rd power. It becomes 512. 2 was raised to the -9th power. It becomes 0.001953125.
Answer: 11.11... Sorry :D miscalculation.
10/9 = 1.11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111... 20/3= 6.66666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666..... 100/9= 11.1111... 100/9 is your answer. :D (700/3 is 233.3333..)
so it is c?
i got 11.1556
