Help? How do I solve this?

Because the two polygons are identical, we can set 2y+6 and 5y-3 equal to each other and solve for y. 2y+6=5y-3 Move all Y's on one side and everything else on another... 2y+6=5y-3 -2y -2y 6=3y-3 +3 +3 9=3y /3 /3 3=y We can also set 10 and x+1 equal to each other. 10=x+1 -1 -1 9=x So... y=3 and x=9 I assume that the line in the middle represents the Y axis, so I would say that the transformation is a reflection over the Y axis.
