Around The World in 80 Days is a classic English novel based on the adventures of the eccentric Phileas Fogg. This interesting book consists of Phileas Fogg struggling through various obstacles to reach London in time, after making an enormous bet that one can travel around the world in only 80 days. He goes through Brindisi, Suez, Bombay, Calcutta, Hong Kong, Yokohama, San Francisco, New York and finally Liverpool. In one confounding scene, Phileas Fogg was eating a meal given him by the Bombay train station landlord and and the meal was cat meat falsely sold as rabbit meat. In Around The World in 80 Days by Jules Verne, Phileas’ response the deception of the rabbit meat demonstrated his honest feelings, intelligent approach to new places, and level-headed openness greatly.
