1 hundred 8 hundredths + 2 ones 4 hundredths. How would I write this normally? 1.08 + 2.04 ?

OK thought maybe it was like our 13 tenths which is 1.3 so was thinking the 1 hundred 8 hundredth was the same thing going on.

Well I looked up notation and I think it would be that because the hundred goes before the decimal so 100. then you have to have 8 hundreths so 2 after the decimal but I am not sure lol.
