OpenStudy (quickstudent):

Is this correct? find x on triangle

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

image attached, question: Find the value of x. my answer: 60 + 60 + x = 180 120 + x = 180 120 + x - 120 = 180 - 120 x = 60 Therefore equalateral 2x - 3 = 4 2x - 3 + 3 = 4 - 3 2x = 7 2x/2 = 7/2 x = 3/5

Parth (parthkohli):

Oh, well, only the last step is incorrect.

Parth (parthkohli):

x = 7/2***

OpenStudy (will.h):

am confused because you said this is equilateral that means all sides measured should be equal ! i can see that 7/2 doesn't equal to 4! which is the measure of the other side

OpenStudy (will.h):

@welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

@Will.H x = 7.2 ( or 3.5) not the length of the side.

OpenStudy (will.h):

oh right i hadn't notice sorry
