OpenStudy (maav3rick):

n airplane flies at an altitude of 36,000 km and is traveling at a velocity of 300.0 km/h to the north, but the tailwind is 20.0 km/h. What is the airplane's final velocity?

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

The airplane was flying at a speed of 300 km/h . now the tailwind flowing at a speed of 20 km/h will speed the plane by 20 km/h. thus the final velocity becomes (speed of plane + tailwind flow rate)
