Find the derivative: y = (6e^-x)/(x + e^-4x) Is it: - (6xe^-x - 18e^-5x + 6e^-x) / (x+e^-4x)^2 I'm sure the bottom is right, but not sure about the top, don't know if I made a mistake somewhere.

(-6e^-x) (x+e^-4x) - (6e^-x) (1-4e^-x) -6x e^-x -6e^-5x -6e^-x +24 e^-5x yes, your numerator is correct :)
