Solve for x: 4 - (x + 2) < -3(x + 4)
add 3x to both sides \[−x+2+3x<−3x−12+3x\]
\[2x+2<−12\]
Then Subtract 2 from both sides. \[2x+2−2<−12−2\]
\[2x<−14\]
Now Divide both sides by 2 \[\frac{ 2x }{ 2}<\frac{ -14 }{ 2}\]
