OpenStudy (willowhart):

Consider the dilation. Pre-image: A(−1, 3)A(−1, 3) , B(2, 1)B(2, 1) , and C(4, −3)C(4, −3) Image: A′(−2, 6)A′(−2, 6) , B′(4, 2)B′(4, 2) , and C′(8, −6)C′(8, −6) Is the dilation an expansion or contraction? What is the scale factor?

OpenStudy (saksh1998):

it would be an expansion and for the scale factor take out the distance of any one side before and after expansion and divide the after image by pre image and u will get the factor fan and medal
