OpenStudy (quickstudent):

How do I find the shorter leg on a 30-60-90 triangle?

OpenStudy (mrnood):

the shorter leg is opposite the smallest angle (30°) You need to knowe at least ONE side length to be able to work out the other lenghts

OpenStudy (3mar):

If you could draw this triangle, it would be better. If you can't, take that rule: The largest leg (side) opposes the largest angle in the triangle. This is a concept. So now can you find the largest leg??

OpenStudy (quickstudent):

I know the longer leg is 9, and that's all I know.

OpenStudy (mrnood):

OK - so do you know aabout sin tan and cos?
