MATH HELP
You go to the grocery store and find that bread is $4.99 for one loaf or two loaves for $6.50. (1 p How much would you save by buying two loaves at the discounted price, compared to the cost of buying two loaves at full price? $4.99 $2.51 $3.48 $1.49 This one is 3.48. 4.99 x 2 is 9.98, then - 6.50 leads you to 3.48
@JamalJunior whats number 2?
You buy 2 gallons of milk at $2.48/gallon, 3 gallons of ice cream at $1.49/gallon, and 5 lbs of (1 p strawberries at $0.58/lb. What is your total cost? $12.33 $4.55 $10.01 $7.53 This one is 12.33
not sure. those were the two ones i could do b4 i have to go. best wishes.
We are given for question 2 the unit rate and how much you buy...You buy `2 gallons with a unit rate of 2.48 per gallon` so we would multiply \(\Large{2 \times 2.48}\).... We are also given that you buy ` 3 gallons with a unit rate of 1.49 per gallon` we multiply once again \(\Large{3 \times 1.49}\).... Now the third part is a trick question...we are given that `1 pint of strawberries sell at 0.58 per pound` but what we need to find is how you pay for 5 lbs so we simply just multiply the price the amount you are buying....\(\Large{5 \times 0.58}\) Once you get the products of the milk, ice cream, and the strawberries you would then add the products to each other to find the total price...
Sorry meant question 4
For question 2 pretend you buy a bag of chips for $2.50 since they are on sale...their original price is $3.00...Now the way you would find how much you saved you would subtract the original price by the price of the sale
Hope I was helpful :)
