Solve the inequality 3-2x > 5. Graph the solution set. Please help!!

OpenStudy (3mar):

You are welcome

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

First step :- subtract 3 from both sides second step :- divide both sides by -2 & reverse the sign

OpenStudy (3mar):

\[3-2x>5\] 1st: subtract 3 from each side. we get \[3-2x-3>5-3\] \[-2x>2\]

OpenStudy (tiffclifford13):

Thank you guys I appreciate it :)

OpenStudy (3mar):

2nd: divide each side by -2, you get: \[\frac{ -2x }{ -2 }>\frac{ 2 }{ -2 }\] \[x<-1\] HINT: we change the > sign to < as we have divided by negative number (-2)
