Its a multiple choice question, i've done the pen-to-paper, the calculator, the everything, it all comes out to the same answer, which isn't in the multiple choice.

The "^" is squared

What do you mean? isn't that how you type it when you cant copy and paste it? I've seen people do it before

The "^" means "raised to the exponent of"

Sure if you type 10^2 it means 10 squared.
