Solve for x
@Will.H @MrNood
what is it supposed to equal? i can figure out x
What do you know about the 'external' angles of a polygon?
90 + 107 + 144 + 138 + x = 540 Solve for x
61 degrees
If you work with external angle it will work for any polygon (540 is only true for the pentagon...)
you got me interested @MrNood how do i solve using external angles
If you imagine walking around the perimeter then at each corner you will turn through an angle equal to th eexternal angle when you get back to the starting point you will have turned through 360 deg in all cases therefore the external angle of all polygons add up to 360 therefore - you know all the internal angles in this case except x so you can know th eexternal ones....
