They where put in asylums, alternating hot and cold baths, and in some cases brain surgery that sometimes led to death.

3. In 1886, what simple approach did Freud begin using?
He listened to them, but rather then interview them face to face, he had them turn their chair around, so them would be more comfortable talking about their most private things.

10. What significant thing happened when he was 26?
He met Martha Bernays.
