AP US History HELP!!!!!


Alright, so I have to write a long essay for my AP US History class and I am stuck. The essay question is:------>As the new nation grew, a unique national identity and culture took shape. Assess the relationship between the groups below and the identity and culture that took shape in the early nineteenth century. How did they contribute to the identity and culture, and how did it affect them?
Women
Native Americans
African Americans

SO I started my paper off and I got the intro down and also topics about Women on how they helped in the Revolutionary war. I need help coming up with ideas for the Native Americans and African Americans. This was supposed to be due today but due to personal reasons it did not get done! Thanks in advanced!

women had jobs like nurses, cooks and maids to more direct roles such as secret soldiers and spies, these Daughters of Liberty did more than their share to help win America’s independence.
And for the African americans i believe if they fought against the British they would receive some type of liberty or "Freedom" Not sure though

Blacks did almost all the work in the South. Vast plantations which produced great wealth relied on the work of black men and women. Focus on any era in the early Republic, without this source of labor the country would not have developed as quickly and in the way it did.

That is a really great example @wwhitlock ! Now I have ideas for Women, and African Americans. Do you have any ideas for Native Americans. I have been looking through my AP textbook but have found nothing...... =(

State names, cities, rivers and place names show the respect and interest we continue to have for the tribes of North America. When it suited our purposes we adopted clothing, food, military tactics and agriculture practises from them.
We claimed to be able to deal with them respectfully and according to our principles of the Declaration and Constitution. But in real life, we have example after example of times we couldn't live up to our promises.
