Please help me! I'd greatly appreciate your help! :) A clothing store sells t-shirts and jeans. The store charges customers $15 per t-shirt and $35 per pair of jeans. The store pays $4.50 per t-shirt and $5.00 per pair of jeans, plus a flat fee of $150 per order. Write an expression that represents the store's profit for an order if they sell t t-shirts and j pairs of jeans. Please show work.
@AloneS Do you know this one? :)
Oh my gosh they're asking to show work also? :O
Lol wait nvm I think I got it. So the revenue would be like 15t+35j Cost: 4.5t+5j+150 Profit= Revenue-Cost so I do the math...
So then I do: (15t+35j)-(4.5t+5j+150) 15t+35-4.5-5j-150 10.5t+30j-150
Idk is that right?
Hrmm you seems to be on the right track..lol but um I'm not quit sure.. how about @brainzonly check this also.
k thx :)
Okay revenue: \(\ 15t + 35j\) Cost: \(\ 4.5t+5j+150\) So we know that Profit equals revenue -cost
Yup yup
Let's solve this\[\ (15t+35j)- (4.5t+5j+ 150)\] \[\ 15t+35j-4.5t-5j- 150\] \[\ 10.5t+30j -150\] I'm not sure why there's big spaces LOL Anyways @Awolflover1 check my work Lol.
lol yea
yes correct alone <3
The spaces are probably from your computer glitching lol. XD
Oh \[\ finally\] Thanks @Awolflover1 LOL probably I'm using those awkward space bars "[..]
Haha thank you for checking the work! :)
