Finding sides of a triangle

OpenStudy (vuriffy):

Hmm, I haven't done this in ages, but curious, could you just add all 3 equations and set them equal to 180 and find the value of x.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

^ And then you plug in x in to each angle's expression and find the value of the angle

OpenStudy (vuriffy):

2x + 5x - 5 + x + 9 8x + 4 = 180 (-4) 8x = 176 x = ? Then exactly what @TheSmartOne said! (:

OpenStudy (vuriffy):

x = 22. Then you can do 2(22) = ? For Angle L 5(22) - 5 = ? For Angle K 22 + 9 = ? For Angle J To check if you did it all right, you could add all those 3 values up and you should hopefully get 180 as well.
