Help? http://prntscr.com/ckyg9m http://prntscr.com/ckygdd

OpenStudy (theoneandonly):

@hartnn

OpenStudy (will.h):

The 1st one is indeed False

OpenStudy (theoneandonly):

and the second?

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

what's b in the second? first one is false u are right. what they have plotted is 1/x rather than sqrt(x)

OpenStudy (will.h):

They actually plotted sqrt x

OpenStudy (will.h):

Anyway. What do you think of the second one share your thoughts

OpenStudy (theoneandonly):

I dont really know it confused me

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

type in google n you will know. plot square root of x. @Will.H

OpenStudy (will.h):

I know that the 1st one is false because what would make it right is a rational function

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

OpenStudy (will.h):

Am talking about the 2nd one

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

well =, until i know what b is how can i tell about the answer to b.

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

i mean ques 2

OpenStudy (will.h):

Well if b= -2 meant to be this way Y= sqrt x -2 ... It would make sense but the thing is I don't know what they mean by the value b

OpenStudy (theoneandonly):

its confusing

OpenStudy (will.h):

I figured it out

OpenStudy (will.h):

y=a√{b(x-h)}+k This is the actual formula B= -2 A=1 I don't know what the rest of the variables! But that is the actual formula if it provides any help for you guys

OpenStudy (theoneandonly):

I believe that the final answer is C

OpenStudy (will.h):

Possibly am not sure

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hmm I would lean towards A I guess. The negative reflects it across the y-axis, so use the negative for that information ^. I don't understand what a negative compression or amplification would look like. It's weird that they put those options there. hmm

OpenStudy (theoneandonly):

so you would go with A?
