OpenStudy (user123):

what is the alternative form of the definition of the derivative?

OpenStudy (user123):

\[f'(a) = \lim_{x \rightarrow a}\frac{ f(x)-f(a) }{ x-a }\] What is this? Is it the same as the derivative slope formula f(x+h)-f(x)/h???

OpenStudy (natalief):

It's derivative from First Principles.
