Everyone’s gone, they all fell away,
And on this path, I walk alone
With you trying to lead me astray
It’s the worst nightmare I have ever known.

That’s what life is now that we’re here.
It fills you with pain, emptiness, and fear.
As I search for someone to not break my heart,
The demons haunt me, tearing me apart

All the things I did right
Make no difference in this living hell
As we continue to fight
My soul is locked in a cell

I feel them coming through the night
Watching me sleep and causing me fright
Their dark shadows linger on the wall
Ready to unleash Legions of the Fall

Because of what I am, they want me dead
Blades at my throat and darkness creeping in
This darkness, a beast that I have fed
Has become greater than the Father of Sin

This beast is only named Death.
It exists because it’s name came from my breath.
I called it, summoning it into being
The end of my life it is bringing

Tell the ones I love that I said goodbye
And that I forgive them for breaking me in two
I only have seconds left until I die
Death has come for me a little too soon

Fear gnaws on the chains of my soul
Paralyzed, I have lost all control
I call on the name of the one who made me
And all the darkness flees,
I am free.
