PLEASE HELP WILL MEDAL During an experiment, you burn yourself when touching a hot test tube. The burn does not hurt and has left no mark on your skin. How do you proceed with your experiment? Wash the burn with soap and water Cool the burn by waving your finger through the air Cool the burn with cold water and inform the instructor Apply a cold pack to the burn Your chemistry experiment requires you to mix two chemicals in a test tube. To safely observe the chemical reaction you should: Peer into the test tube from a safe distance Keep your hand between
between eyes and the opening of the test tube Keep the end of the test tube pointed away from you Put your safety glasses on while peering into the test tube
For the first scenario, cool the burn with cold water and tell your instructor. It doesn't matter if it doesn't hurt now, either it will later or it's too severe for you to feel and it's burnt the nerve endings. For the second scenario, put your safety glasses on. They'll protect your eyes without endangering another part of your body like your hand would.
and also putiing your hand in between would obstruct the view of the test tube and it would be difficult to perform the experiment
washing with soap is not necessary u can just keep your finger under cold water
Thank you so much!!
