OpenStudy (mww):
easy. what differences would you expect when measuring distance to sun vs. distance of a hair diameter?
KjSaif (kjsaif):
the suns distance is way larger than the distance of a hairs diameter
OpenStudy (mww):
ok so what does that mean about the units used?

Now what would you do?
OpenStudy (hxkage):
You gotta convert both the measures to the same unit..
KjSaif (kjsaif):
sorry I was working on paper
OpenStudy (mww):
yes units are important as the error will be based on this
25 kms for example conveys an absolute error of 0.5km while 25000 m conveys an absolute error of 0.5m.
KjSaif (kjsaif):
ok thanks I believe i can solve this now thank you :)
