What is the difference between an objective plot summary and a theme-based summary?

One retells the story from the perspective of the narrator while the other describes events as a reader who is not involved in the story.

An objective plot summary doesn't focus on a certain point of view on the story. This means that if you were to write an objective plot summary, you'd only focus on the events and facts of the story.

A themed-base summary will be focusing more on the theme of the story, hence the name! The theme of the story is a hidden message provided by the author, the hidden meaning
