Help with microscope functions!
What is the part of the microscope used when:
Adjusting the focus when using the 4X objective
AND
Adjusting the focus when using the 40X objective

Can anyone help me? Thanks!

both are the same parts and i think they are called focus knobs situated at the back of the microscoperotated to adjust the focus

actually, with the 4x you use the coarse adjuster and the 40x you use the fine adjuster there really is a difference

but after adjusting the focus to a nearby point using the coarse adjuster

use the objectives. for lower magnification use the Low Power Objective and for higher magnification use the High Power Objective usually 40x or 43x
