Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

\[(6x^4)+(36+−2)\]

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

36+-2 is 34..right?

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

yes

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

24x+34

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

24?

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

6x^4=24 doesnt it?

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

\[6x^4\] this stays

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

oh

Awolflover1 (awolflover1):

yep (:

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

im sitll confused. is 34 the answer?

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

The 34 does stay and so does the 6X^2. Since there is an addition sign what would the answer look like?

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

uh u add 34+6 x 4?

OpenStudy (sagewilson):

Yes and No, you can't add the 6x^2 to the 34 because there is no x^2 next to the 34. But your equation would end up being 6x^2 + 34. That is all, you don't have to solve any further than that.

OpenStudy (fancysharkk):

it says evaluate. so i thought there would be an answer not a equations. so do i put it in?
