help? I'll post the attachment in the description
@563blackghost
Brad starts off with a `TOTAL` of 260 handouts. So `=260`...... He creates `64 packets with an unknown number of how many handouts in each` that would mean that we divided the handouts into each packets so we `multiply 64 by the unknown amount of handouts`..... `64x` So we so far have `64x = 260`...but we are told that he is left with 4 handouts so we would add this to `64x` in which we would get the total of `260 handouts` so our equation is `64x + 4 = 260`. Do you understand?
i think so
Just say which part is confusing and I'll explain :)
it's hard to tell, do you know what i mean?
Yup...well kind of...most people get confused when etching together the multiplying part...
that might be it, but i just suck at any kind of math, i guess it's all confusing..
Yea I was like that at first but you kinda get the hang of it :) In the word problem we are told `He creates 64 packets, each with an equal but unknown number of handouts`. Now how did he create these packets? `he created them by splitting the handouts with an equal amount into each packet.` Now from response the keyword is `each`. Now `each` in Math means multiply so we multiply the unknown number by the 64 packets :) That's the best I can explain it ;)
oh okay thank you soooo much
Np :)
may you help with a few more? i think they're the same..
Im sorry but I have to go....got Physic homework to do :(
That's okay ^^
Good luck with your work :)
