Welcome to OS Mexico City sits on the same site as Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capital city. At that the city was built in the middle of a lake with causeways providing access to the shore. The land has been reclaimed and the water redirected. There are challenges with earthquakes but Mexico City is one of the largest cities in the world.
