Which sentence is an example of subjective statement in "A Culinary Wasteland"?
A. Using Colorado Springs as his focal point, Mr. Schlosser takes the reader on a behind-the-scenes tour of the fast-food industry that includes slaughterhouses, poultry processors, artificial flavors, e. coli bacteria and workplace violence. B. Taking individual responsibility for one's impact on the global economy is far more complicated than just saying no to fast food, as Mr. Schlosser advises. C. The "fast food mentality," as Mr. Schlosser calls it, has also defaced America's landscape, helped wipe out its small businesses and independent farmers and homogenized people's taste buds to a lowest common denominator. D. As it is, his refusal to allow the other side even a few words in self-defense makes the book seem a bit childish.

Subjective statements are statements that you cannot observe. For example, "I have a pain in my leg." You cannot observe this. However, "My leg is bleeding," is not a subjective statement as you can see it. A would be sensible, would it not? You can observe the behind-the-scenes in fast food restaurants. Did you know that a man did a study with McDonald's food: 1 McDonald's burger and a natural burger. The McDonald's burger never rotted.
