In a closed path 25 min intervals drive 2 buses. How many more buses should be released additionally, so that interval would be 60% smaller?
Well, with this one I have no ideas... 25 mins * (1 - 60/100) = 25 * 0.4 = 10 But what does that mean?
@ganeshie8 maybe you understand this kind of problems?
@jiteshmeghwal9 it is possible, I don't have the answer for this problem. The only thing that's for sure - it is integer solution ;)
Initially the interval is 25 minutes Later after introducing more buses the interval is 10 minutes because the interval should be 60 % smaller than initial interval. Initially 25 min interval -----> drives 2 buses 50 min interval -------> drives 4 buses Later after introducing some additional buses 10 min interval ----> drives 2 buses 50 minutes interval -----> drives 10 buses
so new buses introduced = 10-4 that's my logic but i don't know whether i'm correct or not
I will wait for @ganeshie8 answer
@jiteshmeghwal9 problem is that, if in 25 mins there will be 6 buses, then in 50 mins there will be 12 buses. So, it should logically be 5 buses for 25 mins, however, how to obtain that?
so how much "time" does it take for a bus to make one round trip ?
