Well, if I'm reading this correctly, your first trapezoid has coordinates: J(-7, -2), K(-4,-2), L(-2,-5), and then M(-9,-5). Now it gives you the transition equation for how the trapezoid would move which is: (x, y) -> (x + 8, y - 3) Since you are looking for L, simply place L's coordinates inside: L = (-2+8, -5-3) - Now solve it.

OpenStudy (alexandrad):

the answer is D. (6,-8) thank you so much !

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Yep! :) Anytime:)
