Write the slope-intercept form of the equation for the line. A. y = 5/8x + 1/2 B. y = -5/8x + 1/2 C. y = 8/5x + 1/2 D. y = 8/5x - 1/2

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

Equation format is Y=mx+c C=y-intercept M=slope

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

As u can see from the graph that the graph is intersecting the y-axis at +1/2 And also the graph passes through points (4,3) and (-4,-2)

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

So slope is \[\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\] \[y_2=3\] \[y_1=-2\] \[x_2=4\] \[x_1=-4\]

OpenStudy (odie8136):

i am confused to what the actual answer is cause none of what you all are telling is in the chose for the answer
