GEOMETERY question

OpenStudy (haaaow):

OpenStudy (haaaow):

i honestly just need help figuring this out.

OpenStudy (will.h):

Welcome To OpenStudy :)

OpenStudy (haaaow):

thanks for welcoming me

OpenStudy (will.h):

Triangle KMN is congruent to Triangle XYZ What segment is congruent to YZ If you get to check the order above YZ in the second triangle and MN in the 1st triangle simple as that. just follow the order in the arrange of the naming

OpenStudy (will.h):

Make sense?>

OpenStudy (will.h):

if not you can ask

OpenStudy (haaaow):

wait so is MN congruent to YZ?

OpenStudy (will.h):

indeed why? triangle KMN and triangle XYZ see that YZ is the last 2 letters in the 2nd triangle and MN is the last 2 letters in the 1st triangle.. that's it we got our match thanks to the order of the naming

OpenStudy (will.h):

OpenStudy (haaaow):

Oh, so the order of the letters determine the congruency or whatever related/

OpenStudy (will.h):

Indeed the order is so important

OpenStudy (haaaow):

oh, alright, thanks for helping me out i have one really simple question left.

OpenStudy (haaaow):

is a decagon a regular polygon, and why?

OpenStudy (haaaow):

OR WHY NOT?

OpenStudy (haaaow):

sorry, i had caps lock on

OpenStudy (will.h):

A polygon is a closed, 2-dimensional shape with straight sides. ... A decagon is a 10-sided polygon. so yes it is a polygon why? because in order to be a polygon it got to have at least 3 straight sides and angles and a decagon has 10 sides so that's pretty enough to be polygon

OpenStudy (haaaow):

so it's a regular polygon? i researched and it looks like one

OpenStudy (haaaow):

thank you for helping me

OpenStudy (will.h):

you welcome
