Gilman suffered from depression for three years (1884- 1887). In 1887, she went to a highly respected doctor with the hope that he could help her. He basically told her that nothing was wrong with her, and he prescribed the rest cure (Gilman). Is the paragraph above a summary, paraphrase, quote, or fact? A. paraphrase B. summary C. quote D. fact
Well if you are getting the information from something else but not putting it into the words of who wrote it it is not a quoute
The two i know that would be the best answer would be a fact and a summary
I'm leaning on A or B.
I am thinking it is b or d
It seems to be A to me, because Its almost like someone is just shortening something, or rephrased it a bit. (Just like summarizing, but only stating a bit of what another person said, or placing it in their own words.) So It seems to be more so of B. Hope I helped.
Because it is a summary of what he wrote because he did not take it from the website/book where it originaly came from
Yeah a or b
I get what you are saying
So yes the answer should either be a or b
Alright, thanks for the approval. I don't want to give anyone the wrong answer. =)
