OpenStudy (lilsis4279):

A scientific theory can change if nobody wants to believe it it becomes too old the scientist who discovered it dies we discover some new facts

OpenStudy (lowkey.s):

It can change if it is proven wrong, or if a new theory is proven more likely to be true.

Medal if help!

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

A theory can never get to old and become irrelevant. Therefore, that cannot be the right answer. Solely because someone doesn't believe it, that doesn't mean it contradicts to facts and becomes tweaked and changed. Thats the fact. A theory is recorded for other scientists to test. Even if one scientist died ,it wouldn't really falter and still be present. D makes the most sense.
