Please help... I know that the Law of Syllogism is If a, then b If b then c Therefore if a then c. I just cant seem to relate any other answers to that formula.

hmm here's what i think okay Syllogism and detachment we know that Syllogism depend on 3 cases A,B and C . so we know for sure that option B is not syllogism C seems to be syllogism 3 cases are quite connected "if a square is a rectangle (that's case A) and if a rectangle is a parallelogram (Case B) then a square is a parallelogram (Case C) "

Simplify statements into the form "If A then B" then it will be easier to relate to the basic logical statements. Example If a figure is a triangle, it has three angles A=a figure is a triangle, B=it has three angles If a figure has three angles, they add up to 180 degrees B=a figure has three angles C=the angles add up to 180 degrees So the above statements reduce to If A then B If B then C.
