Projectile motion. A home run is hit in such a way as the baseball just clears a wall (21.0 m tall) located 130.0 m from home plate. The ball is hit at a 35 degree angle. Assume that the ball is hit 1.0m above the ground initially. Find: a) The initial speed of the ball. b) The time it takes to reach the wall. c)The velocity components and the speed of the ball when it reaches the wall. I think I could do b and c once I know a, but I'm not sure how to start doing a. Thanks in advance!

I'm afraid I don't quite understand the equations, looks like a matrix, actually, I'm doing algebra-based and haven't finished precal yet, is there a way you could simplify it for me?

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

Sure Will do in a while. Find mobile impossible. Will also correct a howler in my previous post :-(
