You are given the area that would be the total of the equation so the area can not be multiplied with x....also since the area is `4.9` and the length is `2.5` the width can not be bigger than the area....so your answers are incorrect :(

area of rectangle is length * width 4.9 = 2.5y and when solving for y you will find it equal to 1.96

OpenStudy (will.h):

2.5y = 4.9 divide both sides by 2.5 y = 1.96
